May

Caleb Gordon video above is an emerging Christian hip-hop artist from Ocoee, Florida. Though Gordon had an obvious affinity for rapping since childhood, his decision to pursue a career in the music industry didn’t occur until his late teenage years.

Review Caleb’s Bio Here.

LaThelma C.Armstrong video above Listen to an interview with a young woman that was moved by the Spirit to reconstruct the lyrics to Beyonce’s Drunk and In Love single. The
re-mix is not only masterfully rewritten but it is also eloquently sang
displaying both power and depth beyond her years. Her heart for people
and ministry will surely cut to the heart if not you soul.

A link to her sound-cloud is here.

CèJae video above always knew she wanted her music to serve a bigger purpose when she started creating. While discovering who she is as an artist, she figured out what that purpose is: to spread the gospel. “To me, songwriting is storytelling, and the story I want to tell is that this life ain’t about us,” she says.

Brotha Earl video above felt that #Jesus called us out of the world so that we may be a light unto the world to call more men and women out of the world. Many of our brothers and sisters are influenced by worldly content. Our objective is to use God’s gifts to preach the gospel to those with an ear. Here is another great song “Super Christian” .  Brotha Earl and his family and friends understand that many secular artists have a demonic presence in the words that they produce. So, we want to use the same atmosphere to bring glory to God and allow his Holy Spirit to fill our hearts through Music. Peace family in Jesus’ name.

Joel and Luke Smallbone video above know how to spin a cocoon of sound that envelopes the listener, lace words of truth and use their voices to lift and inspire. Growing faith in the largest context transformed the vulnerability. “Love Me Like I Am” calls for acceptance of self and each other. It’s knowing in a world of faster, harder, more, sometimes your flawed misstep makes you loveable in an even truer way.

Childlike Cici video above makes her debut on Holy Culture with this song, which she describes as being about her desire for her family to be taken care of but above all, for them to be wealthy spiritually. “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?” The song also discusses personal life struggles and my need for guidance and strength from God all while understanding where I could be if he Had not saved me.  She has another great song called, “Never Be the Same“, including, “Every Knee Gone Bow”; “Why Would I” which is also inspiring.

Tasha Cobbs Leonard video above, In less than a decade, GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter Tasha Cobbs Leonard has become one of the most iconic artists in gospel music history. Danny Gokey video above although he largely stuck to gospel and soul music during his time on American Idol in 2009, Danny Gokey transformed himself into a charting country artist with his solo debut, My Best Days, the following year. The conversion was short-lived, however, and he embraced a soulful Christian pop beginning with his second album, 2014’s Hope in Front of Me, which reached number one on the Billboard Christian chart. He would remain a contemporary Christian artist, reaching the top of Billboard’s Christian chart again with 2017’s Rise and 2021’s Jesus People.

Jekalyn Carr video above, a trailblazing artist, is regarded as one of the few youngest award-winning gospel singers. Jekalyn sang and traveled with her mother’s group from the age of four to six. With her bright future in view, Jekalyn has some great songs, “You Will Win”, including, “God is Changing Your Story” .  She responded to God’s call on her life at the age of thirteen, adding the work of ministry to her gift of singing. As a rising solo artist, she ascended to the position of itinerant minister, traveling the world singing and preaching weekly at schools, churches, graduations, and various educational and ecclesiastical gatherings.

She is another strong vocalist I love listening too.  In addition, she is so inspirational, and definitely does dress really nice.  I would love to know where she buys her clothes?  Her wardrobe is quite amazing and I want to shop at the same place.  Her music is powerful and she has a very strong voice for God. Amen.

Leonard Cohen video above, after a five-year hiatus during which Cohen released no new material, he made up for lost time in 1984 with the publication of the poetry collection Book of Mercy and the album Various Positions, both of which focus more specifically on themes of spirituality, most notably on the song “Hallelujah.”

Counted among Cohen’s best-known, best-loved, and most-often-performed songs of all time, “Hallelujah” has been covered by hundreds of artists since, including Rufus Wainwright. The album, however, failed to gain much recognition, and it would be another five years before Cohen would release anything new.

Check out his biography (above info courtesy of biography.com) https://www.biography.com/musicians/leonard-cohen. At 2:11, Leonard says, “Now Maybe there’s a God Above,” which was maybe something Leonard was interested in knowing.  There is a God named Jesus Christ. John 10:30 says, t re-made this song so God inspired them to do so through him. Hallelujah means to praise God. Amen.

Gutter Free Hip Hop above video is dedicated to promoting 100% positive hip hop & r&b. We strive to be an outlet for those seeking an alternative to the immoral music popularized by today’s mainstream artists. How do we select our music? Jesus Christ is our absolute authority and The Bible is the criteria we use to determine whether a song is “good.” We generally only use songs that glorify God explicitly or implicitly in the lyrics. Under no circumstance will we promote songs that inspire, condone, or promote sinful behavior. Will we include secular artists? Yes. Our primary goal is to promote as many Christian artists as we can, but we will include a secular artist if we feel there song is impactful enough to inspire good. However, that does not mean that we endorse any other songs by that artist other than the one we have selected to promote. Discernment should be executed by YOU no matter the artist. YOU are the best judge to whether a song is good for YOU.

Bryann “T” Trejo video above was born July 4th, 1980 in Corpus Cristi, TX, one of 2 identical twin babies. He lived there through his adolescent years and then bounced around a couple more Texas towns before settling in Chattanooga, TN at the age of 13. There is where he started to delve into the street life and gangs.

He spent most of his teenage years in kid prison for armed robberies and the selling of narcotics. By his twenties, his life was a revolving door in and out of jail and prison. At the age of 23, he was facing 30 years in prison for 2 attempted murders in retaliation to an attack on his twin brother from a rival street drug syndicate. By the grace of God, the charges were lowered to 2 aggravated assaults and he plead down to 7 years in prison where he served 4 years and got out on probation. So by the age of 27 going on 28, he had spent most of his adult life in prison.

After he got out he returned to Chattanooga, TN to be with his kids. Soon later he moved to Fort Wayne, IN where his twin brother was at. In May of 2013, his brother was innocently murdered in retaliation to a young kid that was murdered the week prior. Those involved thought Woo Woo Bryann’s twin brother had something to do with the murder. In actuality, Woo Woo was trying to mentor the kid. After that Bryann could have revenged his brother in cold blood but chose to love and forgive. That is now the message of Jesus he spreads around the world today.  His music consists of motivating biblical songs: “Dat Part“; “All things Kingdom“; “Persecution“; “Teach Me to Number my Days“; “Who Told You” and  many others (Courtesy of Holy Culture Radio).

CeCe Winans video above best-selling and most-awarded female gospel artist of all time.  Listen to some of her fan favorites songs here. CeCe Winans has long since cemented her status as one of the most accomplished and celebrated women in modern music history. It’d be easy to look back and rest on such illustrious laurels, but Winans has always had her eyes fixed firmly on the future, so it should come as little surprise that she jumped at the opportunity when her son, Alvin Love III, proposed she record the generation-bridging new album ‘Let Them Fall In Love.’ Her first in nearly a decade, the record finds Winans returning to the studio with gusto, working for roughly three years to craft her most confident, adventurous collection yet.

Nicky Gracious video above was charged with a felony at age 10 for Grand Theft Auto. At 16, he ran from the law for a false murder accusation, and by 18 he was in prison. He spent the next 20+ years behind bars, and after being released with no real-life skills, he fell into the dark world of illegal drugs. He lied, cheated, and was abusive to everyone, including his wife. Eventually, he overdosed and felt a void as if dead, but was miraculously revived with Narcan. Suddenly, he began hearing strange voices, causing yet another type of trauma. Diagnosed a Paranoid Schizophrenic, he was put on prescription medication to suppress symptoms, but nevertheless, he felt like he had gone crazy and could not continue to live this way.  In ultimate, utter despair, he quit taking his pills and cried out loud to God; “In the name of Jesus (Yeshua), please just kill me!”

God answered him! He put to death his old self, and restored Nicky as a brand-new creation in Christ Jesus! Nicky now writes and performs music to proclaim this very Truth of the amazing love and mercy of God; who redeems the lost, sets the oppressed free, and restores to those the incredible hope that “something very wonderful” can and WILL happen to ALL who call on the name of Jesus Christ the Lord!

Tye Tribbett video above With one of the most relevant voices of this generation, a sound that reaches the heart of young as well as the old, Tye Tribbett creates a dynamic new caliber of music. His music cannot be classified as one genre, but his unique, abstract way encompasses all. Often heralded as the “Elvis of Gospel” and one of the most relevant voices of this generation, multiple GRAMMY® Award and Soul Train Music Award-winning Motown Gospel recording artist Tye Tribbett returns with his third consecutive Billboard #1 gospel album, The Bloody Win (2017), his first album since the 2013 chart-topping Greater Than (Motown Gospel).

Produced by Tribbett and recorded live across two cities, the meaning behind The Bloody Win lies within the concept of “aggressive victory.” After the album’s “Intro,” a recording of several voices uttering jaw-dropping statistics of human trafficking, the tolls of stress in America, suicide rates, and the rising number of people diagnosed with depression, the resulting declaration at the end of this introduction—a resounding, “These are not just statistics, this is warfare”—sets the tone for this unique project.  With over 30 years in music and ministry and career sales exceeding 1.3 million units across six (6) commercially released albums (2004-2017), this accomplished multiple Stellar and Dove Award-wining musician’s charismatic, energetic and dynamic personality can be seen pastoring alongside his wife Shante Tribbett at their newly launched ministry, liVe Church, located in Orlando, FL., where they reside along with their two daughters.

Ashley Hess and Garon Brett wrote lyrics to the video above (Story Behind it) in collaboration with Maverick City Music and Chandler Moore, and as a group, they are named “The King Will Come” and recorded the song “Yet.” Ashley says she wrote the song at the lowest point in her life.  Her life was crumbling at the time, including relationships with others, herself, and God.  She was terrified in those hard moments. God has always given her purpose and hope.  She didn’t understand at the time why all the things she had were being taken away from her.  She realized that her identity was attached to her career, achievements, and people instead of God.  When she wrote this song, she felt hopeless, ashamed, and guilty.  She was blinded by pain until she noticed God had a bigger plan for her.

She is grateful now that she can put her identity, trust, and confidence in God.   She has surface-level prayers that kept her feeling like she was in a shell.  At the time, she could only say to God, “God don’t give up on me.”  She couldn’t formulate any thoughts or even speak.  This song emerged from what she had been trying to pray for a year.

According to the Story Behind it, She is forever grateful because God is quick to love.  She felt closer to God in broken moments, knowing it was okay.  She just needed to believe and shift her perspective to believing that God was with her and would not give up on her.  God never fails even when she messed up and failed.  God is so quick to forgive, which continues to give her hope.

Victor Thompson video above, “Dependable God” according to “Broadway World” Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter, was proud to announce the release of his highly anticipated debut album, “Blessed” through NWE Worldwide (the record label of NWE #1 Afro Media worldwide which highlights African and Black Culture). With a blend of gospel and afrobeat influences, “Blessed” is a beacon of hope and inspiration, showcasing the depth of Thompson’s musical talent and devotion to spreading messages of faith, joy, and gratitude.  On his debut album, Victor Thompson presents a spiritual journey through uplifting melodies and rhythmic grooves. “Blessed” is soul-stirring fusion of gospel and afrobeat rhythms that transcends musical boundaries. “I am God’s evidence of Love, Kindness and Favour”. That’s the expression and confession I share in this Heartfelt Debut Album “BLESSED”. The journey to this Album is a “grace story”. I grew up on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria and I’ve been doing music literally all my Life. However, I never could have imagined the extent of God’s love and blessings in my Life.” He does have some influence that definitely inspired by God.

David “Davyne” Dantzler video above “Lender Not Borrower” is a South Carolina gospel rap artist who was nominated for five awards in the eighth annual Rhythm of Gospel Awards.

Zee grew up in the city-shaking church of Victory Outreach San Jose and at the age of 9, his parents became directors of the church’s Women’s Recovery Home. Zee had a front-row seat in watching broken lives be healed and transformed by the power of God. At the age of 15, Zee found himself battling a drug addiction that began in his freshman year of high school. Zee knew he had to decide to either answer the call of God or let his drug addiction take over. Zee chose to leave everything He’d known to move to Manteca, California in hopes of a fresh start.

He moved in with his Uncle and Aunt, Ben, and Valerie Lucero. Zee was radically transformed during a tremendous revival called “The Awakening”. After giving his life to the Lord, Zee started to write songs and minister through music at different churches and outreach events. At 17 years old, Zee released his debut album called “Platinum“, “Death of the Giants”, “Joseph Dreams”, “Adeline”, “Faithful to the Finish Line” and many other motivating songs to inspire you. Zee had been a member of Christian Worship Center church from the time he first moved to Manteca, but in 2015 he enrolled at “Christian Worship Center Academy” bible college to grow in God’s word. Lathan Warlick video above, “Gotta Be God”, according to “Billboard”, a near-death experience in 2011 found Warlick staring down the barrel of a .45 caliber pistol led him down a new direction, spiritually and creatively.

After winning $1,400 in a talent show, Warlick and some friends celebrated in a nightclub when his friend got into an altercation. Warlick swiftly ushered his friend to the exit, then turned and saw everyone fighting.  Outside the club, two men chased him, cornered him, and one pulled a gun. “My grandma always said if I was in need, just call on God. That’s what I did,” Warlick recalls. The man holding the firearm pulled the trigger. “The gun clicked,” Warlick recalls. The second man took the gun, determined to try again when the lights from a nearby car flashed against the building. The gunmen fled.  “I felt God’s power then,” Warlick says. “That’s when I started seeking God more. I started making music not long after that. I wanted to do something that would get me away from the environment that I was in. That’s when [God] gave me the vision of “God, love, unity.” A tragedy brought Warlick to the attention of country artist Granger Smith

After Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in January 2020, Warlick uploaded a video tribute, which caught Smith’s eye, and he invited Warlick to do a remix of his 2019 track, “That’s Why I Love Dirt Roads.” “I was just a hip-hop artist, so doing the whole country thing was definitely not something that I had thought about,” Warlick says. “I wanted to push the vision of ‘God, love, unity,’ but God showed me I had to go where unity can take place.” “To see any sort of unity is a breath of fresh air,” says Bowers, who heralds seeing country and rap music continuing to merge. “It’s kind of throwing it all in a blender and loving what’s coming out.”

Warlick, he’s just showing the full range of his musical self on My Way. “Every song has a piece of me. I don’t know nobody who’s got hip-hop, gospel, and a rap song, country, on one thing,” he says. “If you play the whole thing through, you’ve got Lathan.”  (Biography credit to Billboard).

“The Kidd battles depression and wins”

Kidd Lee shared that she found Christ in 2020 after going through a period of depression and suicidal thoughts. She lost her job and many friends, which led to her feeling isolated from the world. However, God picked her up from that spot and gave her hope. Kidd Lee shares that she was introduced to the faith through TikTok, where she saw many Christians talking about their relationship with Jesus.

We also talked about Kidd Lee’s boldness in walking away from friends who were not supportive of her newfound faith. She explained that she started to feel convicted about her actions, such as smoking, and when she shared her reasons for wanting to stop with her friends, they made fun of her. This led to them growing apart, and Kidd Lee realized that God did not want her around those people.

Kidd Lee also shared her mental health struggles and how she dealt with them. She was in therapy for self-harming in middle school and was on medication for depression and anxiety. In high school, she suppressed her emotions and turned to music as an outlet. However, after finding Christ, she has been able to find peace and healing the importance of implementing the cross into daily life as Christians. Christianity is based on faith and the belief that Jesus died for our sins. Dice questioned those who claim to be Christian but lack power and guidance in their daily lives. She emphasized the importance of using the Bible as a tool for guidance and drawing power and encouragement from it.

Love is what proves to the world that we are true disciples of Christ, but it can be difficult to love the unlovable. Picking up the cross every day means being a light and sharing the love and power of Christ with others.

As Kidd Lee said, “God is with you, and He’s not going to leave you.” I hope this conversation inspires you to draw closer to God and share His love with others.

VerbPro 12:4 also known as Verb in audio above is her stage name, inspired by Proverbs 12:4, encapsulates her essence and her mission. “A virtuous woman is the crown of her husband, but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.” This scripture not only defines her but also her call to ministry.

Isaiah Robin video above “Controversial” has “Voice of Healing” bible study every week. His music consist of, “Halle Looh Yah“; “Why“; “Dear Athiest” and many more on his website here.

I was exposed to fame at a very early age, 26 years in the music Industry. I started in a group with two of my cousins called “Da Wazkels” from the age of seven to fourteen, and we eventually rebranded to the “Lax Boyz.” We heightened in fame quickly from performing in front of major Industry executives to being seen on B.E.T Jams, MTV and featured in commercials and travelling all over the U.S.

Being in Hollywood changed me. I got to experience the ins and outs of the Entertainment Industry, I’ve seen a lot, and I have done a lot. From the girls to partying to drugs to being a part of one of the hottest young groups to being a solo artist. I went through many stages of finding out my true identity. I changed my artist name as I was changing from Zay Zay to Kraizay to now “Isaiah Robin.”

As a true man of God I was locked in a cage with no freedom, creating years of secular music. Until God came to me and showed me why I have a gift in music, I then started to make music about my relationship with God, and who God is, and how I became a believer of Jesus Christ. As I continued to transform in my faith my talents expanded, I started doing more than just music. I created a clothing brand to shed light on God called “Godly Vibez Apparel” I started using my voice to bring awareness on the darkness in Hollywood, which grew my TikTok platform which has been deleted 6 times, twice with 1 million followers. I am what many call controversial with my “Cancel Me ” Podcast on YouTube.

I’ve fully allowed God to guide me and lead my life, and as God continues to lead me, my life will be forever limitless. I am a vessel for God’s Kingdom. Risk-taking is mandatory when you are a true child of God. I have taken risks speaking about truth without compromise, getting banned from major platforms multiple times being shadow banned. I stand firm on what I believe, and if that takes losing everything to bring light and truth, I have no fear (Biography Credit Voyage Houston).

Ryan Ellis video above “For U” is pretty sure he’ll be in California forever. It’s where God gave him authority as an artist. From his endless passion of traveling the coast of his home state bringing people together through gospel and song, he comes home from the long days and slips into his makeshift studio in the garage and writes, that is, after he gets into family mode with his wife and two children. Wherever he is, nothing keeps him from trying to be like Jesus.

Introducing “Heart of the Father,” Ryan Ellis’ newly-released single since signing with Provident Label Group/Sony Music. A breathtaking introduction to the singer-songwriter’s redefinition of the worship genre, the song harks back to his pop and R&B influences, sparked by memories of singing along to Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men. Evoking the sunny vibes of his hometown of San Diego, the chorus is lush and orchestral with accents of rock and the melody is a wave that breaks beneath the poignant lyrics: “Your spirit guides me to the heart of the Father.”

“The inspiration came from what I was living out day to day as a worship pastor in Isla Vista, California and the steadfast, patient love I had with the city,” says Ellis, who has fond memories of sharing about Jesus with Isla Vista Worship in the vibrant college town located in Santa Barbara County, while also slinging patties and buns for the Jesus Burgers ministry (JesusBurgers.org). He recalls kids stumbling in and out of his friends’ houses, wondering how a kind father would react to those who are still young and finding their paths. “Heart of the Father,” co-written with Mitch Wong and Mac Montgomery, is the exploration of patience and grace for those who are still coming into their own (Biography Credit Ryan Ellis Website).
